Your lucky mom Wasn't around! We see most of nor cal wldlife on our mountain property. Mnt. lion, bobcat, bear, deer, elk, coon's, #$@* ground squirels, a rare pig but for last week. A saw a tiny wild piglet run across the yard, grabed cam and ran out to not see it anywhere. While standing looking around I felt a touch on my foot and looked down and it was at my shoe! It followed me everywhere I went. No sign on mom or siblings anywhere and she cried for her mom a lot, but no mom. We put out the word and in a couple of hours found a foster home with a nursing sow. They said she was 1-2 weeks old. Cute little thing!

Running isn't much better of an option.Note to self: if you can climb a tree to get away from a Leopard, don't.

Don't know much about leopards in domestic abodes but the ground squirrels around here hated life when my Russian Blue was on the prowl.wow what a cutie.
i share your hatred of ground squirrels.
