We lost our buddy SlowBlood (Kyle Dinh) this morning

There was a lot of love in the room last night. Not just for Kyle but so many of us remembering our connections to each other, beautiful stuff.

Wow, I am in shock!
Kyle was a instant friend first time we met many years ago. A great human being.
We hadn't seen each other in person for a few years but have followed him on FB and was always happy to see his face posted up on his latest adventures.
Thanks for being a friend to Sara and I, you will be missed. :(

i keep saying “kyle dinh” because that’s how i always greeted him. followed by “what has kyle dinh been up to” or whatever and he’d also talk about kyle dinh in the third person. it was absolutely silly and never grew old.

Oh so sad to pass early RIP 🥀 BARF bro. Kyle was a force for good, such a warm friendly guy. I knew him thru early rallies. When he showed a little late, everyone was happy to see him again! BTW how did he get the handle Slow Blood?

A thousand years ago I asked Kyle about his Barf name. He told me his family always told him he had “slow blood” because of his relaxed easy nature.

Anyone else?

Wonderful service to say good bye to our friend. The Elks is old San Francisco and I swear I could hear Kyle’s giggle in the great hall.

Man.... I did not add it to my calendar. :(

Hope the smiles and hugs overcame the tears.

I'm not a rider, but an old friend of Kyle. I wouldn't have known that he died unless I found this forum, thank you. I wrote a tribute to Kyle and I'm not sure if the style of my writing would pass through moderation, so I will post it below, but if anything I wrote is against moderation rules, please - I won't be offended if you delete it. If that's the case, perhaps you could leave my account live and I could send the URL to anyone here who would like to read it. Here it is: Kyle Dinh (Slowblood).

Thank you,
Bronco

THANK YOU! :hail I have had some amazing and hilarious adventures with Kyle. He never saw me as some weird old Sabre Tooth tiger well past her cougar prime. Instead I was just another weird person in his amazing and eclectic collection of real people. I hear him giggling in response to your tribute Bronco, long neck bottle in a motel room filled with the oder of bad decisions and Cheetos.

Nice write up Bronco. All TOS friendly just so you know.
I was looking forward to your post when I opened the door for you this AM.

Like many here we enjoyed Kyle infectious smile and laugh. Rare Buffalo indeed.
