It actually has very little to do with the action itself. The difference is in how hard you try to impose yourself on the people around you and the medium is arbitrary. It could be juggling, or jump rope, or panhandling, or whatever. Do you ram it down other people's throats, or do you do it in an unobtrusive way? Wheelies are rad, but an obtrusive person is obnoxious no matter what they're doing.

I just this week muted "Take Back Santa Cruz" FB group after being in it for a day or two because of an "OMG Helicopters" post. The group appears to be a disastrous marriage of Nextdoor with FB.

I swear the Internet has made us into a bunch of paranoid, nosy, self-righteous assholes.
