What a 174 mph wreck looks like *GRAPHIC*

not only to much bike; theres one boot, one sneaker, what looks like another jacket laying on the ground beside him. i think somthing weirder and more gross happened.
 
If any new rider is seeing this (or you know any new rider with more testosterone than brain) then please do show it to them. It will bring them to their senses real quick.
 
ice seen these pics before on other forums..the consensus was that they were fake...people were breaking it all down and pointing things out that seemed implausible.
 
I seriously doubt that those are faked.

Also, as for the post saying he got what he was asking for??? WTF?

I don't ride like that, never even did when I was young... I did ride a bit fast and probably a bit stupid, but whatever I did, I was never "asking for" being ripped apart in a crash.

Stuff like that is why I got away from sportbikes. Not that we can't get hurt or killed on a SuperMoto, but none of us (except for the racers on the expensive high-end bikes with plenty of room to go) hit over 100MPH.

Yeah, now my heart rate is racing... I hate seeing stuff like that, but it's reality.

Alayna, you may want to edit your post about the pics before anybody opens those and give a good warning. "GRAPHIC" doesn't do those photos justice.

IIRC that was in Mexico a couple years ago. Guys were on a trip down from the states, which explains the extra gear. And they had to drag everything off the road, which is why it's in a big pile.

edit: just saw you said it was in Oklahoma, it's been awhile since I seen these pics.

OMG....since I am still in Germany (move to SF BayArea in June 06) and my bike goes 198 mph (ZX12R tuned to a SP12R :teeth ) this was a nasty reminder to take it easy those last few months. Season is about to start over here and I shouldn't fuck up until I am in CA where those speeds are out of the question.
Lost two fellow 12-riders last year, one of which I assisted with first aid with my friends when he took his last breaths in the woods that mutilated his inner organs after he was run off the street with ~120 mph... :(

The older I get the less I think I will be speeding excessively anymore, I am riding since I am 15, 22 years and I only got a little backpain left from one of the bigger crashs, I am so friggin lucky considering that I am a speed whacko.

Wooaaah, my stomach is still upset, but I am grateful for it, just in time before the new season starts, every spring the problem to start it slow and not rip the throttle, cagers have to get used to bikes again as well... every damn Spring.

NOTHING is implausable.
 
I'm also of the opinion that they are faked. Nobody, no matter for what reason, drags a dead body (or parts of it) off the road like that and just leaves it there uncovered.

Yes, the first two pictures show the aftermath of a pretty serious stack, but the third one is someone's idea of shock-jocking and it's pretty lame.
 
Still it serves its purpose and reminds you of how fragile humans are... :green
 
Here is my 0.02 cents:

- He didn't go 170+ mph. If he did he'd be in Texas already.

- As he rounded the curve, possibly went to the opossite lane where he was broadsided by an oncoming vehicle. Possibly by a flat front ended vehicle like a raised full size truck.

- This, very briefly, stood the bike up and allowed him to impact the vehicle and also impact the rear wheel.

- This also would explain how he just exploded and skidded to the opposite side on the road where his bike was.

- Also the impact ripped the bike's left side causing it to basically become a moving fireball.

- Which also could explain why the surrounding vegetation was also on fire.

Dont blame me if your curiosity got the best of you! No one made you look at them. And yes it should be motivating for riders of all levels to be careful out there. If you want to go that fast.. take it to the track! Please go introduce yourself in the newbie section:hand
