What Are You Thinking Of Right Now?

We had a great time sharing a CA king snake with kids and adults at the Marina Earth Day Celebration today. We rode the Tenere down there and back. Elkhorn Slough and stuff, it was awesome and a beautiful day for the ride.

We had Tiger salamanders and frogs too too

another cross pollination between thinking, and favorite line from a song. once upon a time… ‘i recognize that look in your eyes. i know you, and you know me, and we both know where this is gonna lead. you want me to say that i want you to stay, so you should probably leave’.

he stayed.

am thinking, been thanking my lucky stars ever since.

I’m thinking: scolded by my sister, she’s not wrong-same lecture I gave to her last month, now it’s my turn to listen. So much disfunction in families, I am grateful for ours.

I am thinking I had some golden years golden moments with my granddaughter at her first visit to a legal drinking establishment. :bday

So fun. She picked awesome music. Her Dad did good.

i am thinking it's a shame that luis vasquez left this world. his music just came on and i thought of him.

fuck fentanyl.

I think we fight the fight on a daily basis. I've delivered so much Narcan and I will continue to do so.
Take one, you never know when you might need it for someone else.
It's in my car, in my desk, in my tank bag and in my home.
All Uber and Lyft drivers should carry it in their cars at all times, IMO.
I've moved away from working drug/alcohol. I spend my time now with homeless veterans.
Scary addiction is alive and well in that community too, but I haven't had to administer any Narcan since I left working in rehab facilities.

I never take anything that has the potential to cause my death.

That’s why I only smoke bud related products from reputable sources.

....and yet you proudly rode a motorcycle.
Just exactly what did that little "Judge-y" comment mean?

I am thinking I was given NarCan when I left SFGH and will plan to carry it with me.

I just checked mine. I have a 2-pack, but it expired 11/23. I'll message my doc for a new one. Thanks for the reminder! :thumbup

It wasn’t being judgy. Just wondering what percentage of motorcyclists have ever taken hallucigens. It might partially account for the reason some have taken up a dangerous activity. I have taken various substances in my youth, and I was just wondering if there might be a correlation.

In my case, I don’t see a strong correlation. And if I ever even had a fear of death, I lost it after a few trips. It’s been shown that even as little as a single trip can greatly reduce or even eliminate the fear of dying in patients facing their own death.

I have zero fear of dying. And in some ways I welcome this final life event. We will all experience death some day. But I’m in no hurry.
