What Are You Thinking Of Right Now?

I have here a resume with all the qualifications under the sun and 30 years experience. Why is a PhD, CEO, president, director, project manager, mit engineer and physicist type applying for a jr level grunt job? It's that bad? I'm sure he could drop in and grind away, but for how long and what would he rather focus on...?

And then I've interviewed this young lady with the minimum of experience, but the touch points are all there, even if rather small. I am afraid this will crush her, but for the future, I feel compelled to act for the long term. I was hired young and given a chance, but for a line position.
 
I'm thinking, how grateful I feel to this forum and all you folks that participate. This time so many years ago I was reading Woodschick's ride reports out loud to my significant other who lay unconscious in a coma and telling him of all the adventures we would take together as soon as he woke up. When he did wake up he askes "who is Woodschick?" :ride :cool

Are you gonna have a motorcycle theme at your wedding reception? One of my brother’s wife used to race with the AFM. They asked me to take a couple of her race bikes to the reception and place them at either side of the entrance to the reception hall. And as I recall, they had a couple of toy motos on their wedding cake.
 
I am thinking that we do have fall colours in California. Leaves are amazingly beautiful.

I wheelied across my wedding cake on a 2-stroke dirt bike while my roadracer groom fought for traction in the frosting. Cousin made our delicious cake, 1992.
