I think we got mired in this again. Somewhere out there is an able bodied waterman that can get involved.
 
Try to remember "what's the worse that can happen" and that outcome is still pretty damn good.

I’m thinking LB and I have parallel lives sort of. That’s what it and that may be what it takes.
He’s there now and doesn’t want to return.

i love negotiations! i threw in a couple of other little beasts. a big white guard dog (to keep the resident bear at bay), and a black AWD P vehicle to navigate the dirt road. also added some long guns. just because - remote mountain in the dark. he’s up for it. :thumbup:thumbup:thumbup
 
I think LB might want to look into 10 ply tires for the AWD-P vehicle, a generator, weed whack era and some fire systems.

I think GoGo’s wife’s yoga classes are helping a lot. I think in 2 weeks my gear will fit again and I’ll get to snow Barbie Beta around the forest.

I'm very proud of my son for earning his eagle scout rank! Well done, my dude.

Also super proud for my daughter for earning her scout life rank but also her SuperNOVA award, which has been awarded to very few Americans. She is an inspiration to the whole family on how she's shown so much impetus in the face of crazy adversity this year.

Also super duper proud of my wife for volunteering to take over as Scoutmaster for all-girl Scout BSA troop 220! one of the founding and largest all-girl troops.

I think I'm elated that my family has become stewards of outdoorsmanship in our community and volunteers to teach others the ways of the outdoor world.

apologies to derail. I'm just about as happy for my fam as I can be. :teeth
