maybe because he was so skinny for so long, it kind of looks worse than some of these fat folks you see who have been built fat like that their entire lives. like when I see Axl here it looks like he could die at any moment, which I don't instantly think that when I see Meatloaf. maybe that fatness represents all the ill will Axl has built up over the years, like a gypsy curse. perhaps if he breaks the spell by being nice and getting the band back together...

I saw Yngwie Malmsteen play in Reno about 8 years ago, I couldn't believe what a big fat tub of goo that guy was. After, we saw him at the buffet at Silver Legacy, he had 2 of the hottest 80's looking chicks with him.
