Very cool! Is this a total houseboat rebuild? Do you get to operate the crane?
The crane belongs to our neighbor Matt. It lives in front of our marina when it’s not working.
We call these waterproofing systems because if we called them “barges” it would change the way they are classified.

We don’t touch anything that is above the hull so stick to in and below the water.

So, being ignorant, is that just, I guess for lack of a better word, a floating foundation? A floating box that the house(boat) is then placed upon (and I guess, bolted to or something)?
Do you get to operate the crane?
Watching some guy using one of those mini excavators on a large patio.

And, I know, it's work. It's always work. Work is work, but, boy, does that stuff ever stop being fun? It sure looks fun. But that's probably the permanent 6 year old boy in me.

G, what do you coat those with, something like Amercoat?
Steel is etch d and coated with CoreCote a fiberglass reinforced epoxy. Then an additional coat of UV resistant epoxy .

Berth, you are correct, work is work and it’s miserable hard work but so rewarding when the job is completed and we get to day we did that.

Made some habanero hot sauce out of my habaneros from the garden. It also has my homegrown garlic in it as well. I used Rick Bayless' (Yes, brother of Skip, lol) recipe from Youtube.
. I love it! Next up is making his roasted tomatillo salsa.

I forgot to mention that I bought really cool bottles from Amazon. Along with normal lids, they came with spout thingies to limit the flow and sleeves that I used a heat gun on to seal them up, Very profeshunal!!

What's your logo?

I make up names as I go along. I used a paint pen to scribble directly on the bottles. This one was named "Buckin Hot Habanero Hellfire" where Buckin' is a play on my name. Not so profeshunal!
