I got a new Z1000 and it has FI, first time for me.
I am researching getting a PCIII USB and Dynojet says they now have a free Accelerator Pump feature you can add...

What does it do? They don't explain it on their site.

My guess is something about helping in starting and off-idle acceleration, as that is what it does on a carb...anyone help me out?

Thanks.

usually what its for on keihin FCR flatside, maybe the same thing for FI. better call them.

An accelerator pump simply provides more fuel at full throttle. For an electronically injected bike, that's something that would already be programmed into a good map. Sounds like marketing BS to me.

Even 1950's SU carbs had an "acellerator pump" type feature. It is no special thing.
