What to use to hold the front brake lever while transporting a moto?

I've always used a baxley.



Bolt chock to a chunk of plywood, put the plywood down, roll bike on it. When not in use, move it.

Why you're so insistent on not using the right tool for the job is just beyond me.

I've been thinking this the whole time.

Why not just put another pit bull trailer restraint in for the middle bike? You are already familiar with their virtues.
 
Another option for mounting a chock is threaded holes in the floor (or nuts under holes). A small hole in the floor isn't really in the way.
 
If you need to apply the brakes to keep your bike secure, you're not securing it properly.
