Ok so i once bought a gsxr from marin cycleworks and that was a great experience, but they are no longer open for business SUCKS!

Ive been to a few and didnt really like their prices or salesmen, but anyways I plan on getting a new suzuki gsxr 750 sometime soon and really wanted to ask my fellow riders on some input on a suzuki dealer recommondation i could get a good price from in the bay area.

If anyone could help me fellow member out that be awesome!

thanks in advance guys

This is a good post, waiting for others to chime in too. Got mine at suzuki of oakland, but they too are gone. EBMS has a huge inventory, good parts dept, but they suck in sales and service. If you do get a good deal there, I would think twice about bringing the bike there for service.

Interested. About to pull the trigger on a '12 wee strom. Responses appreciated.

I would give my recommendation for the store I bought my old sv650 from in Sunnyvale....BUT they closed!! Damn these Moto dealers are hard to keep in business...

Fremont honda kawasaki suzuki!!! They were great when I bought my used R6 from them. There were a few minor financing issues that they were superb about. I buy all my dirt bike hardware from them, and they are always super friendly. Go see Bill Keyes (I think thats the spelling) he is a total bike guy, has been for longer than Ive been alive.

bought my ninja 650 a few months ago from fremont honda kawasaki and they were super chill.

i heard they added a suzuki line up too :party

They're just down the street from my house. Nice, honest sales guys. Knowledgeable parts staff (they reallly go out of their way to find parts for 80s Honda's when I restore them). Experienced service shop. The kind of service shop that'll give you technical advice (if you can handle it) to save you a few bucks.

Used them for my Hayabusa valve adjust and cam chain tensioner after Cycle World went under.

^^^That. Talk to Ted Steinhausen.

funny that you said that cuz i went to fremont honda kawasaki and suzuki this past saturday and actually spent 2 hours with ted , damn i can not say anything but good things about the guy! i mean we was just choppin it up for 2 hours and even tho new customers walked in he never left me to go help them.. but the bad thing is they only have 1 2012 gsxr 600 in stock and he couldnt give me an approx price on something id be spending...

As far as eastbay motorsports goes i went in today, and man nothing but the salesman bullshit talk. I got the money and credit to get the bike right there and then but they still treat me like im not serious or something(left me hanging to go chit chat with some friends of his). My opinion is they have shitty salesman but a large inventory! He told me id be looking at $9700 for the 11 gsxr 750 + 925(set up fees)+ 275 (shipping) + Tax and license.....I think thats a shitty deal to be honest especially with that $925 set up fee since FREMONT only charges $330!!!

It sucks that all the good stores are now closed down! So if anyone could chime in for us buyers that be awesome!!

The guys at vallejo powersports are all awesome.....except the sales guy there.
If you dont run outta there screaming to get away him, you are a better man than me.

Thanks for the kind words. All I can promise is that I'll be fair and honest.....and the truth is, I just like motorcycles. :teeth

There are lots of shops around, I try to understand that treating the customer respectfully is the only way to be successful, so I try to follow that path.

Come see me and I'll hook it up. Every dealer plays their own game....we do not do the smoke and mirrors trick of advertising cheap "prices" on bikes then packing $1500 of freight and prep. We have freight and prep fees, but we to not use them to raise up low advertised prices. I'm honestly amazed at how many people that works on. To each his own.
