After 50 weeks of persistent arrhythmia, this is what top notch electrocardiologist did for me.

Sort of like being tied to the front of a runaway train, 24 hours a day for a year.

Immensely grateful for LBJ and the Medicare system, my cardio team at UCSF.

After 6 mos of operating at like 40% of my normal physical self, with persistent atrial fibrillation, I bailed out of my lifelong healthcare HMO and got my ass to UCSF.
There, I had a consult where all the negative , "can't do shit" stuff I was getting from my previous cardiologist was replaced with, "Let's fix this!"

And so it was, despite all the complications that my previous cardio whinged about. After some pre-proceduer imaging, mapping, and other stuff,
This vid is not where I had this done, but a decent explanation. Do not try this at home!

Let me just say, If you can, there are a few really great electrophysiologists in the bay area, UCSF in a class by themselves.
