So I've worn out my knee slider on my Dainese suit. I am now looking at the Chickenhawk knee sliders. Just curious what most folks are running after they smoke through the ones that came with their suits (i.e. Woodcraft, Alpinestars, Dainese). I also want to know why (i.e. feel, longevity, etc.).

Woodcraft have great feel and they are durable as hell provided you don't drive your knee into the ground.

Woodcraft. The high resin plastic or whatever they call it lasts a long time and has great feel. I used to burn through the dainese/alpinestar pucks in a trackday but my woodcrafts last a long time. Get the extra thick ones for even longer lasting life (although they stick out kinda far/look goofy)

Woodcraft's Klucky Pucks are quite a bit harder than Dainese's and they slide easier. the extra slip was a little surprising when i installed the new ones, but i forgot about it after a few laps.

Good to know. I enjoyed the Dainese's but smoked through them. Woodcraft seems to be the slider of choice. I'm surprised nobody has run the Chicken Hawks.

Woodcraft ... the BEST ! Honestly, they will grind down to the bare minimum and still hold up with no rubber flakes or cracks.

The Woodcraft ones are by far the best for no other reason than their longevity. They last me like a full season.

I'm currently running the Chicken Hawks (long lasting version). They originally looked like a big egg on my knee until i started slowly grinding them down. I say slowly cause they last very long and also slide very well. I think they are not a bad option if you want a long lasting knee puck. I probably won't have to replace these for awhile..

Nice man. They seem to be a lot thicker and bigger than the Woodcraft's, which I picked up. So it sounds like you would recommend them then?

Yep, I have no complaints with them. Although I'll probably pick up a set of the Woodcrafts after these just to try something new.

Can I haz your old ones to improve my street cred? Mine only get scuffed when I kneel to check my air pressure..:(
