I have sunken cheeks, so if I grow a beard I look like a homeless person (or meth-head)

That, and my family goes white early, so I don't see the value of having a white beard unless I was round-faced and could pull off the Santa Claus look.

:laughing I think my beard game is weak. I never let it go more than 3-4 days without shaving, and when I do, the cheek growth looks patchy to me. Also, my hair is really fine. It would probably take like 4 months of really awkward face before it filled into something useful and then I would have to be a Moustache/Goatee guy, because of the cheeks.

I am also kind of intense about keeping clean and think all that stuff near where I eat would annoy me. Seems like a lot of work.

I don't see what's bad about that at all. It's evenly dense, no patchiness or bald spots, and he takes the time to shape it, unlike most lazy ass guys.
 
the only thing wrong with it is that it probably cost him a lot of money, like his hairline.
 
I wouldn't doubt it. Celebrities spend lots of money to achieve and maintain a certain look.

Wouldn't surprise me in the least bit if some rich dude who can't do better than a spotty slow growing beard wanted a legit full hipster fluff.

edit because that's likely to ruffle some feathers in retrospect. I've met / dated several women who flat out refused to perform oral or were just horrendously bad at it to the point of a lost boner. Zero inclination to make an effort even for the sake of a relationship, so that pretty much killed it for me. Simply put - we didn't line up in terms of sexual inclinations / wants and needs / etc.

Huh, didn't know beard transplants were a thing. I don't see anything wrong with it though, it's just money. It's a better use of $7K than a set of rims that will plunge 60% in value the moment you buy them. Or an "offroad package" when the toughest thing you ever do is drive to Tahoe.
