Why is the bottom button hole on shirts horizontal instead of vertical, like all the other button

Even stranger on some of my high end shirts the bottom horizontal button hole only is stitched in red. Now explain that logic!?!

Your fingers/hands more naturally put on buttons in vertical slits high up but down low it would be the other way.
