Server: Windows SBS 2003 with Microsoft ISA Firewall 2004.
Workstations: XP32, XP64
Problem: None of the workstations can use Outlook Express to access POP3 personal emails and NNTP newsgroups. When I tried from the server they works fine. So I guess the ISA server is blocking access from the workstations to the POP3 and NNTP ports.
I am not worrying about POP3 but I need NNTP to access some newsgroups from the OE interface. So I was trying to grant access to port 119 (NNTP) to all workstations from the ISA Firewall settings but it still doesn't work.
The IT guy who setup our server came and consumed a lot of my coffee but couldn't figure out either.
It wasn't a problem when we were on SBS 2000 with ISA 2002.
Thanks for any insight.
