I hope that all the people who say that masks don't work never wear a mask ever again: in the paint booth, don't wear a mask; sanding paint off a car, don't wear a mask; fighting a fire, don't wear a SCBA or working in a lab in Wuhan, don't wear a mask. I'm sure it'll work out fine.

As far as Wuhan goes, I've never seen China and I'm starting to think it's just a Hollywood movie set created to sow fear in the American people. Can anyone really prove that China even exists? Sure people have a lot of "facts" but I'm too smart to fall for that malarkey ;)

Are you forgetting immunizations have been a part of our society for a long time prior to the Covid pandemic? Kids need to have a record of their shots for whichever school they're attending. New recruits for the military get more shots than that on entry. Is that dystopian?

Or is this just a thing because you don't agree with THIS vaccine and have been jumping down a disingenuous and obtuse rabbit hole of information and narrative because some people weren't able to go to see their favorite sportsball team or go on vacation [insert location] because they refused to be vaccinated? Even for numerous examples like those, you didn't even have to be vaccinated. You could just take a test and provide proof of a negative result. That was good enough.

That is so far from anything remotely resembling a dystopian society and sounds more like Chicken Little telling everyone the sky is falling.
 
Vaccines have allowed humans increased lifespan and dramatically reduced childhood mortality. Not seeing the downside here.

Personally I think this virus does not need mass immunization of children, or adults. We are not vaccinated for every virus there is out there, just few.

There is process to get there. Making vaccine, looking in benefit vs risk, getting it approved and on market. And last step individual look at benefit vs risk. There is reason every drug say consult your doctor.

Mandate to be vaccinated to enter USA was lifted this May. European countries did it last year in most cases. No, you could not just take test and go, you needed proof of vaccine, in majority of countries.
 
Here is interesting part of this travel mandates.
2021 I could not go due to countries I wanted to go not allowing unvaccinated people.
Last year they lifted mandates so I went home. On the way back to USA which still had mandate for test/vaccine I did not have to do either because I am citizen, it only applies to none citizens. My friend who wanted to come with me and visit could not come.
How that makes sense?

I am only speaking about USA and California specifically.

Here, people were not hamstringed by not being vaccinated. Early on, yes, everyone was but all things were shut down worldwide. In the USA, months/a year later, a lot of things were available to attend again. Concerts, sports events, etc. If you could provide a negative test at the very least. I was in Austin, Texas for the American round of MotoGP in 2021. I took the train from California there and back. About two and a half days each way. It was fine adhering to Covid protocol.

But you clowns, to this day, keep talking about "MUH FREEDUMS", denying science, and for some crying about how they were not able to [insert thing] when [insert thing] barely required you to have a negative Covid test, not vaccination.

A lot of y'all are treating Covid like it's religion and it's weird to me.

None of this will make you think differently so, fair play. We are where we are because global perspective

Considering your quotes, my response is very relevant to what you mentioned. I clarified my statements but that's not good enough for you.

Would you prefer to talk about whether water is wet or the moon revolves around the Earth? That might be a better discussion.

You've been pushing conspiracy theories all along, you've been drinking the koolaid all along, you haven't liked the measures taken to save lives, instead choosing to eat up all of the conspiracy theories that made you feel better about being unhappy with things you couldn't do.

The thing about conspiracy theories that in almost every case they are an expansion of very small possibilities, they are fed to people who want to believe so it's much easier to twist the truth and get them to believe.

Smaller covid particles may cause less severe illness.
