argh after more research looks like you can get a PIE unit for the honda for 50$... um... fugg that dude! I'm waiting for an XM radio headunit next time.

are you sure that location works? The manual recommends against it strongly.

ps. My unit did not come with any "direct" connect hardware. Did yours ? Mine only has the cassette and the FM modulator. I wanna wire to behind my radio tho bye

That is where mine is on the Corvette. That bulge is better there than somewhere on the body. Although I've seen an eftermarket one that looks like a shark fin similar to the newer BMW and Audi antennas tha might look ok on the body. Oh well, next time.

Oh yeah and XM channel 150 is the bestest evar!
 
Here is the install:

I tried out the FM modulator and sound quality was noticeably worse. So I wired up everything with the cassette adapter. Ghetto but doesn't look TOO bad.

A side shot. I tried to conceal the wires as best as I could. The antenna is stuck to my rear trunk hood.

Yes I love XM! I have had it about 2 years and cant live without it. Local radio sucks(I like 104.9 though) and seems to never come in clear, XM always is clear.
