My opinion: He races a car on a public road and the car crashes almost costing the passengers their lives. He did stop to assist them, but in my mind that doesn't eliminate that he was a major contributor to the crash in the first place.
He is the type of rider that we as motorcyclists do not need. The type of riding he does is the stuff that has a direct link to the additional LEO presence we are all paying for. My opinion:

Clue me in if I missed something, but I didn't see anything about him being the one racing w/the WRX. He mentioned some other "fast riders," is he referring to himself?
If he was racing the car, ultimately his actions contributed to the accident. Shame on him.
I respect all opinions on this board. Riding a little loose is fine at times, but when one's reckless abandonment degenerates their responsibility towards the safety of other riders, cagers, peds...they shouldn't be on 2 wheels.
