I think the Duc handles a little better, but I think that's also largely due to me. I'm built small and the FZR is actually not a ergonomically small bike, making it difficult for me to move around on it like I want to. I remember talking to Mike Loehmeyer (sp?) one day at the track about it. He's tall and lanky and has the opposite problem that I do but obviously enjoys and rides the bike well. The guy I sold mine to was not petite by any means and was quite comfortable.
Hope this isn't too far a departure for you O.P. I'll remove my comment if you want, but usually I find that telling people that the bike is just a small displacement and not a small frame is a good thing.![]()
Not at all it does help to have a little leverage on those 400's... I just never could get my 996 or 748 to turn in that well.
