Uh OH!!! Don't forget:

"Open throttle Fawqking Poosay!"

that apply only for 2 cylinder sv.
4 cylinder is "dont fuck with eject button":)

Is there still space in the A group?

As a matter of fact there IS still space left in the A group.

C'mon down! er...up!

If the weather's nice, I'll be there wetting down the track with a garden hose.

Get the hose ready then.

OR (go with me on this)...you could just quit being a slave to work and come ride.

Thanks ZoomZoom!!

Beautiful weather and well organized track day. I had a great time:teeth

Was experimenting with my little Casio camera onboard and put this one up on YouTube (its slow 2:14 lap time, but I'm just cruising :teeth) . It was at the end of the day so its a little dark and a little shaky (the compression doesn't handle vibrating very well)

Yeah, wasn't yesterday awesome?! Couldn't have asked for better weather.

I have to give a big thanks to Spencer for getting me to come up there for that track day. That was so worth the drive. I also want to thank my SoCal buddy, transplanted to Pacifica, Mike for giving me a place to stay Tuesday night and for riding with me all day.

That track is pretty rad. The first half of the track really is like a roller coaster and is so fun. On my first lap out I kept looking for a long straight-away, but never found it. ;) I wanted a place to rest. Actually, my body never got too tired because I wasn't riding very hard, but my clutch hand got really sore from grabbing it for all those down shifts. Little different from Willow.

It'll be fun racing there next year.

+1 for Kurt Spencer's help! He took me on a follow-the-leader/bird-dog session before lunch and afterward schooled me on some of the dumb stuff that I'm doing. I ran back to my van and too copious notes and then started working on his suggestions the rest of the day.

I learned alot and think that some of these suggestions (if followed properly) might get me into the upper echelons of the mid-pack.

Thanks champ!

You're already in the top third of the pack :laughing

yesterday was a blast. After the second session i felt really comfortable. What i did notice was that C group felt like a gaggle. I was passing people left and right and then would come up to about 15 riders in a group. Then i would just hit the hot pit and then back in. Next time i definitely have to do B group.

Thanks ZOOMZOOM. You guys rock!

For some reason, C group riders tend to follow the person in front of them, copying all the bad habits.

I never fail to get a kick out of a group of fifteen riders at Sears Point, all entering the carousel from the far right of the track. At a snail pace.

A great day was had by many.
I spent some time helping the group of guys that rode to the track. I did that my first trackday. After that I understood why it was dumb. I spent my moring working with some new parts for my bike, and it didn't go well so my sessions where short as I worked out the problems. Eventually I went back to my old parts and started having some fun. A great way to end 06 I'm really glad I bought pisctures from Dito as it's the last time my bike will look this way. New bodywork and paint scheme for next season. Now I'm going to take the thing apart and send it to the right people in prep for next season.
Thanks to Joe Z for loaning me the clip on, and Greg for the splash of gas.
Now ZZ boys lets post up that 07 schedule.

Congrats to all those who successfully completed the NRS yesterday!!!! Can't wait till next March!!!

Also, it was my first full day on my new track bike...boy having decent suspension sure helps things out. It also felt like it had a little more pull than my commuter SV. I was getting front end wiggles coming out of T11.

Couldn't have asked for better weather! Yesterday was awesome! I had a really good time. Kurt W. thanks for making the drive up and letting me try and keep up with you! LOL K. Spencer, thanks for working with me, I felt like I got a way smoother and you showed me some killer lines! Over all it couldn't have gotten much better! Ohh and first time riding with ZoomZoom. Great trackday you all put on!

Yeah, thanks to Spencer t... Oh, well at least we got to ride around together.

Great day, well run, as usual, and I got a chance to blitz the guy who I work for on race weekends while he was on his street bike Can't ask for anything better than that, can you?

Oz and Pete, did I pass you guys close enough? Hopefully that pass on Wile E. put some fear in you two.

Oh, and to anyone who got pasted by my silver GSXR (number 846), it's still for sale!

I hate you all.

Let me clarify that. I REALLY hate you all.

Congrats to the NRS graduates!

That was what would I consider a "movie" day. Whenever I watch the latest Hollywood release I aways get the impression that the temp on screen is just right. It's not too hot; not too cold. It's always assumed that the weather is picture perfect and that's what we got on Wednesday.

Huge thanks to everyone that came out. It was just about the best way to end the '06 season for Z2 that I could think of. I'm also really proud of the graduating class of the NRS. This group was one of the quickest and smoothest I can remember in a long time. I'm expecting great things for these racers in the years to come.

Good luck in the upcoming '07 season.
