StonyBARF 14 September 30 - Oct 3 , 2021 is ON!

I am going up tomorrow.
Will try to get a camp at North Fork Campground until Thursday morning then move to Gray Pine.

No internet up there so see ya'all Thursday or later.

hey Brother m0t0_ryder ... I'm going to try to catch up with you tomorrow night at North Fork Campground. :thumbup:ride

took the day off just now, anyway. we'll see if I can get my act together. :facepalm:laughing

I'd definitely be in for a trip up Mt. St. John Friday evening! As long as at least some folks have better lights than me :)

I should get to camp mid-afternoon on Friday. Looking forward to it!

Saturday 125 mile loop looks great! cool map program ... :thumbup

guess we'll try to head up St. John Mtn from Grey Pines at around 6pm Friday evening. if we start heading back down just after sunset it does not really get headlight worthy until you're almost back at camp.

NO, REALLY? Butch, say it ain`t so. No fair! :wtf

+1 ... :x:ride

I've got a 125mi loop in mind for Saturday, and won't be in a hurry
https://www.gaiagps.com/map/?loc=10...&trackId=4088b8f3-476b-4112-b179-cd74e6a15268 . This is my first time in the area too, so the above is very much subject to a reality-check, but I figure the M & numbered roads should be alright/open.

Adam P, I don't have the Gaia ap but your ride sounds intriguing. 😎

I'm with you on the Mt St John ride...return not too late for light. Shorter days now!

Have a blast, gang! I will be there in spirit. On the plus side, I recently learned that I don't need to register my dirt bike out here in VA, which is nice. I cleaned the carb and got it up and running. Just need to refresh the forks and shock, toss on some new brake pads and start riding!

If you leave now you could be here by friday morning:laughing

This time let us reserve the center of the campground for the tent guys so they can be in the shade.

Outdoors ... if you’re worried no hugs.

All good.

Does anybody know what the cell phone coverage is like at the campground? I am on t-mobile.

When I had att sometimes I'd get a bar or two in camp. Most of the time I had to ride up to the top of the ridge for service. I think it's the m5 just outside of camp

I'm bringing a trials bike. You're in charge of constructing the fireside balance course out of firewood.
Hot damn, I'll bring mine then. We can ride the rocks in the creek too.

I get Verizon coverage at the ridge above camp (M5) and most of the high points on the ridges above. Don't remember getting service at camp but do remember texts going through from there (low data, multiple auto attempts).

Just got $$ from Klemen and bananachunks!
You guys are gonna have a rockin good time...
