We've seen the signs: "Patrolled by Aircraft" Well here is proof.

I think most AMBER alert signs show the same message unless there's a geographically targeted issue.

And if cited over 100, you do not get to face a judge like if you were only going 99, it's automatic through the DMV, is my understanding.

The last time I was ticketed for over 100 it was a mandatory court appearance. Of course, that could have been due to all the other stuff they tacked on (reckless driving, failure to yield, unsafe lane change, etc) because they were pissed I didn't pull over as soon as they thought I should've. I'm not in the habit of looking behind me when doing triple digits on the Bay Bridge. Bad Cop was adamant I go to jail, Good Cop was adamantly against it. I guess I was lucky to just have to go to court.

I thought Pole Line was in Nevada. :confused
Well the first flat straight section (167) is in California, some nice high velocity twisties for a bit when you get into Nevada (359), then some long straights again. :teeth

Looking East on Pole Line (167) just off 395. Flying solo going to Hawthorne last year, a little over 50 miles!

Yesterday (8/16/26) on Eastbound 580 and 205 the big info signs had "Drive 100, Loose Your License".
Traffic flow through that area was 70 - 80+mph. If you were in lane #2 at 75 you were getting passed on both sides.
Oregon is quite strict as well and has a similar law on the books.

Back to the OP:

Highway 35 is a terrible place to haul ass. So many other people on the road. So many driveways and cross roads.

and don't forget the poor pavement condition these days!!

Pole line, is a hill in Stonyford, I only "cleaned it" once.
Long pull along the power line, doing pull-ups with the bars, to keep the front down.
Slide back for traction, work it all the way to the top. TT 500.

A rider was tracked by an aircraft in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

There has been a noticeable increase in actual enforcement. I wonder where they were while the Bay Area became a pitifully un regulated free for all.

Did they just all come back to work, or get hired or what?

This am I saw 3 SMC Sheriffs on CA1 between Pacifica and San Gregorio, and 3 CHP on 280 between CA92 and 19th Ave. (All within 1.5 hrs)

A world record!

How is an aircraft tracking with all that tree foliage?

I don’t think I understand. In my head, the video answers the question / is evidence that they clearly ‘tracked’ the rider.
