~Pics from the up north tard ride!!! dirt, goats, mud 2/17-18~

lemme give a pano a shot here.....it doesn't do reality justice, it was amazing on that look-out platform!

edit- wow, cool, it works. I gotta take more pano shots.:teeth

Wow Mike, very nice! We did some stuff like that in high school, only we did it at different angles and with drop shadows to help cover up the seams (by making it look artsy). Yours is clean looking! Did you just photoshop those together or use a one-touch program?

:wow Awesome panoramic shot!!!! :hail

I wish I wasn't such a wimpette to brave such wilderness!

the camera has a pano option, so it sets the colors in the first shot and helps line up the rest by showing you the last one nad lining up the next one on screen.

and yes, a one touch program called Autostitch, super easy to use and it works beautifully!!!!! (free demo version too!):teeth

Dear Sir,

You produced a fine panorama. However, the two meat heads on the right ruined it for me.

EF4i

Dear Mr. Eee eF Four Eye,

In response to your letter submitted earlier today, I have reviewed the document in question.

My sincerest apologies for the grave error in my panoramic photograph, it somehow slipped by reprographics and even the production team didn't take notice. :(
Rest assured it will not happen again!
(as they have all been fired....from a cannon head first into a deep watery grave containing sharks with laser beams on their heads).:sniper

Wishing you the best,
Me.:twofinger

Dear Northbay SM group ride leader,

Kindly find a way for us to do laps on Skaggs (to the coast), Sherwood and Geyser rd, without all that pesky "not quite as fun" stuff.

kthnxbye.:love

I took the "not as fun stuff" as a nice time to relax. I was beat after Sherwood and the nice calm ride into Willits and down to 20 after words was nice.

Ask and you shall receive though....

please don't get me wrong, I loved almost every road and have continued to enjoy them in my dreams each night since!
I fully understand we have to chill on some connecting roads cause all the good stuff isn't in line. :p

It all rocked!!! Those were just my fav parts.:teeth

You guys ever explore the roads east of clear lake? There is also tons of good riding up in the mendo natl forest just north of clear lake.
