Exactly.

I followed one in Walnut Creek one afternoon while in my cage. It sounds so awesome. So unlike any other sport bike. I wasn't there but I'm glad he made sure other aficionados heard that unique bike which they may never get the chance to see or hear again.

calm down, it's not like you can stick your cock in it. :twofinger

I had the waffle, eggs, bacon combo at Lumberjacks this morning but Ken had the eggs benedict. :drool

Sung to the tune of "if I was a rich man"

If had a desmo,
rev rev rev rev jingle rattle rev.
All day long I'd rev jingle rev'n.
If I were a DESMO owning man.
I wouldn't have to ride hard.
Ya ha rev rev rev rev jingle rattle rev.
If I were a rev rev desmo owning ,
rattle rattle jingle rev man.:party

If I had a desmo...

I'd rev it twice in the morning
rev it twice at night
rev it twice in the afternoon
cus it makes me feel allright
rev it twice in time o peace
twice in time of war
rev it twice before I rev it twice then rev it some more

but can you stick your cock in it?

Yes, but only because it's really small.

'Cause you're mine!
You better stop the things you do,
I ain't lying
No, I ain't lying

You know I can't stand it
Your running around
You know better Desmo
I can't stand it
'Cause you put me down

I put a rev on you,
Because you're mine
You're mine

I WON (2nd place) two years ago! :teeth:laughing

I'm totally guilty of revving. Can't help it. I love that sh!t. I try to keep my cool about it most of the time, because it is a totally jerky thing to do, but if I were heading up to LDD on a Duc I'd be pretty obnoxious about it. I'm just glad it's not me that's getting the complaints...this time. :laughing Then again, that would mean I'd be the proud owner of a 60K Desmosedici. :p

I have a Desmodue wearing Termis and am guilty also. To be honest I don't do it so much for the audience as for my own auditory pleasure.

edit - wow posted and found out this thread has 43 pages!!!

F you, Mortifer !

Yes, you have a 60k+ desmosedici, great, good for you, we're all happy for you.

You- rev'd it after starting it at the bottom of Alice's p-lot. you then rev'd it while cruising up past the restaurant, nice and loud, yes we all heard you.:|
Then you turned right and went down 84, not bothering to shift for a while, real nice.:|
Not sure why you didn't just leave out he bottom driveway since you had parked next to it besides wanting us all to look at you. mission accomplished.

The rest of us- stood by watching, shaking our heads in disgust, wishing you'd hurry the fuck along and stop disturbing our breakfast!:(
Today is the first time I've seen this thread. (40 something pages over this, c'mon) Although I don't remember this happening on that particular day, It does sound like something I would do.

I usually try to warm-up the engine before hammering on it, that might explain the reving/blipping of the throttle ( not off the rev limiter) and why I may have left it in first gear for a while, plus the fact that first is geared to the moon !

As it turned out and somewhat ironicly, a few short hours later i had won the sound competition at the La Ducati day event in La Honda. (Where you rev the engine very loudly to the cheers of the crowd, not the pathetic wine of Mortifer.)

And just to be clear, I do wheelies and make noise for my own satisfaction and pleasure. Call me a selfish bastard or whatever you like, but it wasn't for you !:x
