ATT claims there is no unusual problem.

YES!!! On the phone with hubby and I couldn't hear him at all, then I got a busy signal. Happening all week! Driving me nuts. I thought it was my phone :laughing And ATT is supposed to have the fewest dropped calls :facepalm

My g/f is on ATT, and I have had maybe 2-3 conversations over the last 3 years that her phone didn't drop off. ATT is teh suck. Nothing new lately though.

ATT is horrible, I used to have them. My phone was so unreliable I never used it. I finally just satopped using it altogether. I now have Sprint. :thumbup

:laughing i just heard my roommate says "FUCK!!!!!" then silence...then "hi sorry my phone has been dropping calls like crazy lately"

so yes it is happening to alot of folks :laughing

I have AT&T service and while I do occasionally drop calls it's not quite as bad as the rest of you seem to be experiencing. What really rubs me the wrong way is that I work in a building owned by AT&T, with their logo on the outside and they have offices upstairs, and inside our building we get *horrible* reception (even though I work right next to a first floor window looking out over the sidewalk). Oh well...

It's absolutely fuckin' terrible for me. I get missed calls, dropped calls, voicemails from nowhere, bad connections, you name it. I have a 1st gen iphone and work on the 12 floor of a building right smack dab in the middle of the Financial District. No excuses. My phone is basically a pocket sized brick while I'm at work. The kicker is, I NEVER experienced these issues until about Thanksgiving last year. It's progressively gotten worse every month since.

If Verizon would hurry the fuck up already and release the Nexus One, I'd have switched days ago. I can't wait to ditch this crappy ass service. :mad

I don't suffer from dropped calls when I'm at home... cuz I can't get an f'n signal in my own house!

The mini-cell tower AT&T selling is just a slap in the face. An admittance of the network is not what they advertised, but hey, you can throw good money after bad to fix their mistakes! :laughing

I'm in the same boat Steve is. Same building three floors up from him and barely any signal at my desk (I am lucky to be by a window), if I get up and move around the office, no signal.

My company issued Verizon phone? Sure it sometimes sounds like a tin can and two strings but the calls go through.

Stop whining about AT&T, pony up the $3/min, and go get yourself an INMARSAT phone.

'course, you may have to step outside to use it.

:laughing

Yes this past week I have noticed calls have been pretty bad quality. Fucking ATT. Although Tmobile and Sprint are not much better, and I don't know why the fuck Verizon charges so much when they are on CDMA.
