My fave is that Porsche and BMW offer a lighter weight version of their premium cars.
Normal Porsche is $85k. Light Super Race Porsche, which is the same car but no AC, no nice seats, no padding, no radio, and poor people roll up windows is $105k.
You're assuming the Light Super Race Porsche is made with the same materials as the normal Porsche....it's not. That's where the money comes from. That and the engine being different too.
Oh and they're modding it because BMW charges more to add lights than it costs to do it yourself. That's no different with any other brand either.

. I helped him torque his lugnuts back down, but neither one of us knew what would cause his wheel to loosen like that. Is it possible there's some extra force/vibration beyond normal being transmitted through the final drive and that's causing the wheel problems?
