I hope you are not in too much pain. Heal up quick and get riding. Best wishes for you.

Hes on his way up to Kaiser from SLO via Ambulance now.

I bet he talked the ambulance driver into taking BCR to 9 and then onto 35 before getting back on 101.. :laughing

Heal up Daniel & let us know how that subframe held up. ;)

Remember ass grabbing nurses is considered ok when you're on drugs! Heal up soon.

that bike has bad moto-mojo-juju all over it. he bought it from the family of the previous owner - who died riding it..... might be time to firing squad that thing!

Hope you heal up quick Daniel !!
.......and um, i hope it was your left arm that took the damage ;)

you're not helping..:rolleyes

Upbeat disposition a good sign :thumbup

Hang in there and heal up.

I currently live in SLO, the bike is being taken care of.

I'll be heading up to Kaiser Oakland at some point to get my wrist pinned back together. Need to get back down here ASAP after that.

Thanks for the kind wishes.

I live and work in Oakland but lived in slo for 4 years. Let me know if you need anything since I'm right by you.

Looks like you were on the way to Cuesta when you were hit. Do you know about the back way in to Cuesta so you can avoid SR1 and all the dumbasses?

If I recall correctly you turn off the bottom of Foothill right near LOVR?

I know about the back way but its slower and longer - i live on cerro romauldo between cuesta and ferrini.

Ah, I used to live in Irish Hills apartment complex, right near LOVR and Madonna, so the back way was awesome. I thought it was way quicker, and far fewer douchebags, more opportunity to open it up.

Just curious, how many crashes does this make? People are talking about your propensity for carnage and I remember reading a similar thread on SLORiders.....

street crashes involving injury? 2. the other was a deer.
dirt crashes involving injury? 2, 1 of which was concussion only.
