Well I haven't posted in a long while but seeing an H2 in here lit me up.
Stupid as it sounds, my first bike was an H2. I rode that thing high as a kite when I was a kid. Booze, pot and and coke. (Yep, I WAS bullet proof).
Coming home from my bartending job early one morning a Harley pulled up next to me at a light on Decoto road a block from my girls apartment. He kept brapping his throttle, which irritated my coke-addled mind. So I wound up the throttle, blowing smoke, splitting the air with that classic Kawi ying-ying-ying.
The light changed while I was wound up and without thinking too clearly, I dropped the clutch handle. Yeeeeeee-f-in-hawwwwww. It took a quarter block to comeback down! I did NOT do it on purpose and had a silent (maybe) scream going for a hundred yards.
I got to my girls place safely and she promptly sent me back out to Quik Stop for milk. I jumped back on the bike, zipped up to the store, where I walked in on hairy, bearded Harley dude who just stared at me. Never said a word..
I guess now that I'm almost 60 I would probably just tell him to stay off my lawn.. Thanks for letting me share kids.
