Hi folks, here are some pictures plus some stats (these unfortunately also include when I walked around with the GPS in my tankbag, but don't include, for example, the ride/push to Joe's and back for the pictures

):
Odo: 985.44 mi.
Moving time: 20h32m.
Moving avg: 48m/h
Total ascent: 63,240ft.
Max elev: 9,852ft.
Max speed: why, 70m/h on 167, of course!
Day 1: 4, 89, 395, 167
^ after the turn into 89
^ Mountain View BBQ in Walker
^ Vista point on 395 over Mono Lake
^ 167: bzzzz *SPLAT* bzzzz *SPLAT*
^ Cheladas!!!
^ El Capitan
Day 2: Round trip to Yosemite (tanked up in Wawona before heading back, too late for dinner
^ Olmsted Point. Hiking in leathers (even just 300m) is a bitch.
^ El Capitan (el de verdad...)
^ Really nice cold water in a small lake before heading back
^ Tenaya Lake
^ Our bar stools at Joe's

Happy I made it for that at least.
^ I think this is a really cool pic... avatar?
Day 3: 108 to 580
^ Breakfast at
Hays Street Cafe in Bridgeport. Nice spot.
^ Vista point over Donnell Lake on 108. This is shortly after I learned that a trick I learned in Germany works here too! If a turnout is coming up or you want to pass on the left through the passing lane: people moved to the right when I rode behind them (not up their ass, just following them) and used my left turn signal. Hopefully this is kosher... I think it beats tailgating hoping the guy will get the hint.
Once again, thanks all for an awesome weekend.
Kinky out.
