Gonna look forward to Chloe Kim in the women's snowboarding half pipe. Found out about her a few years ago when she was just starting out and now she has the potential to be the best women's snowboarder on the planet.
 
lol why is there mixed curling, mens curlin, and womens curling? is the skill level of playing shuffleboard on ice all that different?

Often one of the least covered but most exciting sports. :thumbup

I really like all the smallbore shooting sports in the Olympics.

I'd donate money if they'd come up with a smallbore pistol biathlon style event.

Darn NBC always futzes with the OTA, every major event so I'llnhave to find a stream and watch that.
 
Opening ceremonies look like a bust. Either small stadium that will have the olympians in the seats, or someone forgot to pass out the tickets, cause it’s empty

Of course it's f'ing empty because they are probably broadcasting the incessant prattle from the NBC dipstick announcers, who ONCE AGAIN are ruining the Olympics. You MORONS.

And if it is like the LAST NBC coverage it will be tiresome and redundantly filled with useless dribble about athletes and their shorts or dogs, or dogs AND shorts, and little about actually athletics.

I would also like to know how one can possibly turn the damn WINTER Olympics into a racial issue. Oh please, stop with the whining B.S. Everything is NOT about discriminating against your skin tone, for Obama's sake.

This morning has been very good coverage. I hope the evening will be the same, and I will keep my hopes high. The level of tricks in all the events is just amazing. Thirty foot high triple-triples backwards on snowboards, etc. Just wow. I think the jumps are scary enough without any tricks. :laughing I guess I really am OLD. :(
