I went, I figured you were out doing one of your races, that's why you missed Wednesday night. Jennifer on the yellow Ducati beat Doug in the finals. Doug had mechanical issues. I went out in the first round, ran a .26 on my .24 dial, but I was sleeping at the line and lost it on reaction time. There is supposed tobe one my race on Nov. 5th, but I won't be there for that one.

Yeah this month has been crazy with races will try and make the next one hopefully my name is still on the list to get in. I'll get that Light Bee down the 1/4 mile before the end of the year =P

Your name should be on the list. They had it at the front gate when you pay to get in. They also just added another date. October 29th!

2026 schedule is up.

Thinking we need to bring the Brightdrop.

Recap of 4-15-26:

Another windy and cool night at the strip. We had 12 bikes show up including Mr. Charly Blunt who came all the way down from Oroville Ca on his little 400rr ninja while his zx14r is down for repairs. Charly is a well known drag racer in northern ca not only for being very quick on his zx14 but for also being 89 years old! I tip my hat to him as he had that long ride home last night after the races.

As I mentioned, the nasty Sonoma head wind was in full form, so times were down and then there was a big oil down in the left lane close to the finish line that delayed practice runs. 2 time runs and then into elimination we went. I will mention we had a young lady on a Hayabusa racing for just the second or third time on her bike and a newcomer from Hayward on a BMW 1000r that did very well. I made it to the semi finals along with Brad Hawks on his old R1 and the Youngster Charly Blunt also made it to the Semi's. As luck would have it, as 12 second Honda car oiled down the track as we were getting close to the 10pm curfew and that ended the night for everyone.
Looking at the ladder, I had the bye the next round so that would have put me into the finals! Oh well, that's racing. Hope for better weather for the next event, May 27.
