2025 F1 Season (spoilers will be discussed)

That white race suit is just one more thing to hate about Monaco.

I wonder if the C6 tire will hold up or if the parade will be just two C5s and one C4.

In case you didn't see it, the drivers will be required to use at least 3 compounds during the race, causing at least 2 pit stops.
For the upcoming Monaco Grand Prix, however, drivers must use at least three different sets of tyres, which means a minimum of two visits to the pit lane.

It is hoped that the change will inject some excitement into the encounter, which takes place around Monte Carlo’s tight, twisty streets (meaning a lack of overtaking opportunities) and is commonly a one-stop affair.
This will favor RB who typically have the fastest pit stops, though it's just a small difference.

Which cars will do best on 3 different compounds? This race is almost always a parade, the 3 compounds may (or may not) change the dynamic of the race.

2 pit stops are mandatory this year at Monaco.

Wow, good job Norris!

I always love his interviews. His reaction the the "You got pole taken away" question was fun to watch. Leclerc was acting all depressed during the interview - you'd think 2nd place start in an under performing Ferrari would be cause for celebration, especially at his home race.

It was also fun to see the track workers being all smiles while doing the handoff of the Mercedes after they got out of the tunnel.

Well, a parade, as usual. The forced tire changes didn't really make it any less of a parade, maybe a bit more things, kind of like getting a second round of hotdogs and beer at a baseball game...

These cars are TOO big for Monaco.

You want more excitement at Monaco? Make F1 cars smaller (nearly the size of F2). Make they run ONE compound...the current C6 would be amazing because it will force far more pit stops. And hey, having it rain isn't a bad thing either.

I get why they penalized Russell so hard, but at the same time, at least he was trying to end the rolling roadblock and get on with a race. Should have just given the 5 second penalty and neutralized the "strategy" of holding everyone up.

As a result, Williams has more than double the points of the team behind them in the Constructors, Haas.

I've seen Hadjar's name fairly frequently this year. He seems to be a talent who is fast.

Palou is winning everything this year in IndyCar; wonder if F1 will give him a look.

Methinks he protests too hard.

“We built a house. Took us like 14 months. Everybody knows that I tried everything to get into F1; I was all-in. It wasn’t even just, ‘I'll try a little bit.’ It was all-in. It didn’t work.”
“I would put it as, I’m not looking to go there. I had my half a chance—or maybe more like a 10-percent chance—and it didn’t work out. That’s fine, and I’m glad that I have an amazing opportunity here, and it’s going well. I’ve had no contacts [in F1]. I’m not looking for a change.”

Álex Palou Montalbo (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈaləks ˈpalɔw monˈtalbu];[1] born 1 April 1997) is a Spanish racing driver who drives for Chip Ganassi Racing in the IndyCar Series, where he won the 2021, 2023, and 2024 championships and the 2025 Indianapolis 500. He is the first Spanish racing driver to win a National Championship in American open-wheel racing history and also the first Spaniard to win in the GP3 Series.

He's doing very well, I assume he'll get a shot.
Doing very well in indycars is not the same as F1. F1 is the best of the best, and often requires some form of sponsor to sweeten the pot.
