2025 F1 Season (spoilers will be discussed)

^^^^^
That's kind of my thought also. I think (again just opinion) that maybe Daddy Stroll has had a talk with Lance and maybe told Lance that you do not have to be here if you don't want to. Just finish out this season.

Lawrence has made plenty of $$ on the team acquisition, etc. I would bet he gives Lance the respect of his own (Lance's) decision.

Bottas is back!

Wonder if Cadillac thinks the mullet might appeal to the Nascar crowd:laughing

I was going to root for Cadillac anyways because they are an American team, now with their driver lineup, I'm even more excited!

This is a great driver line up. Like Lights said, I am even more excited to see what Cadillac will do next year.

So, will we call this the M&M line up (Mexican and Mullet)? :teeth Or Maybe the S&M line up (Sergio and Mullet)

Yay, dry qualifying but a wet race at SPA.

Excellent.

Should be a wild race.

Worst qualifying efforts ever for Hamilton?

Watching the race later; hope it was raining as the sprint race was quite boring.

In the sprint race, Max made multiple moves under braking that would had him on the radio bitching and whining at a key moment in the race. McClaren needs to complain to the stewards as much as Max if they want to keep him at bay.

Then he did the same thing in the race to Russell at a key moment. I think we're going to see a lot more of this from him going forward, especially since he got away with it.

I'm reading it as misplaced frustration in the team; his aggression is from the lack of performance out of the car which may have to do with the moving/ replacing of staff.

It will be interesting to see what happens with RB going forward. I would expect big changes, no clear picture at this point whether it's to make it better or worse.

It's kinda sad that a wet and drying track was turned into a snooze. Maybe the race would have been better had they started 30-60min sooner, maybe not.

I really wish everyone could come up with a solution to the Wets being completely useless. Once tracks are dry enough to allow ok visibility (with how much spray the current cars throw up), the Inters are most often the fastest choice. I think Pirelli is working on making the Wets faster. But it's doubtful that matters if it's too dangerous to race. The new cars will use the floor a ton less, so maybe they'll throw less water into the air.

Ok ok hear me out......

Collect the water from the car / track / tires and you get "to trade that volume in" for fuel weight.....

Lol, he was totally within all acceptable regs with the blocking moves. Blocking moves are part of racing.

Of course Max would bitch about it if it happened to him. So what? Are you suggesting that what Max complains about should be the standard for issuing penalties? He complains all the time and the stewards do nothing. A few times they do something, but you can't seriously believe it has anything to do with a driver whining, do you?

I know because it's Max, you think it should be penalized, but come on man. His very existence seems to drive you crazy. Your distaste for the guy is seriously affecting your ability to be even remotely objective.

I was really surprised by how long they took to give the green flag. A lot of teams prepped their car for rain, and they were right, until the delays went on for a ridiculous amount of time. It seems lame that the teams cannot adjust the setup of the car to compensate for changing weather conditions. But rules are rules I guess, everyone has the same decision to make - some gambled and lost, others nailed it.

You clearly didn't see what I saw, those kinds of blocks under braking are not legal.

I don't like to see drivers win by being whiny little bitches over anything and everything while at the same time being the worst offender. That's not racing, that's bitch strategy.

Multiple moves under braking is legal-ish when the following car is not attempting a pass. In the Sprint, Oscar's got closest on Lap 11. At best Oscar was within 1/2 a car length. The important part is probably that Oscar looks to fall further back during braking, so its seems silly to think that was a pass attempt. Max closes the door slightly after Oscar falls back - completely legal.

If Oscar had any problem with Max's move, he'd be on the radio and we'd have heard it on the broadcast. But nah, the guy with the best vantage point and most to gain from a Max penalty didn't have an issue.

Max & RB chillin' rent free.
