2026/2027 NFL Thread

You can have tickets to the home game Opener vs hated Miami on 09/13 for $250. A night at the Luxor is $250 on the 12th. You can walk to the game from there.

The drive from L.A. is about $70 in gas.

Do you work NFL games, Mike? That is pretty awesome. I just assume that Courtyard is a mint on game days. the Luxor is actually pretty reasonable for opening day against Miami, and you get to sleep in a Pyramid. :D
 

so John Madden's wisdom is something that doesn't age, if you're teaching or coaching Madden is a true teacher.

as long as he didn't crush his head he's fine. he don't need to move to coach just his noggin. he could coach from a wheelchair if needed.

Yeah, even a femur is pretty meaningless for a coaching gig. Any head damage is a concern, i fit effects sight, hearing, speech, or cognitive ability, but having a damaged sense of smell from a busted nose might even be helpful in the locker room. :laughing
 
Pearsall may be out for the season with knee issue.

The 49ers' Ricky Pearsall outlook is increasingly grim
On Wednesday, the 49ers announced that Pearsall did not participate in their training camp practice because of swelling in his right knee’s posterior cruciate ligament, an injury he first suffered way back in Week 4 of last season. The note sent to reporters also said the team had “concern” about the PCL injury and were “exploring all options.”
