Alberto Puig blasts Nicky Hayden

If that where the case,...what would Hayden just be on Stoner's setup?

But I just somehow cant believe Hayden wouldn't know how to setup a bike.

Huummm.. so far it has been proven true. I n fact this year made it all to obvious.

Pedrosa said all Hayden's testing was a waste of time - or as Doohan would put it "buring fuel". Reason was simple: Shrimposa only tested the bike during the Qatar testing. Found the bike to be POS. Had some major chassis changes prior to race. Hayden raced with the bike HE developed.

Result: Pedrosa third. Hayden 10!

Come Jerez. Hayden want's Dani's bike. Honda of course says yes.

Result: Pedrosa wins. Hayden moves up to 4th after also qualifying 4th.

These are actual facts.

That hayden has done well in the last race? It is called Luck and Hayden has plenty of that. He took a huge gamble with the tires and it worked. After all, he put poker cards on his leathers.... oh, what about indy... well, in the rain even a kawa has won..... :rolleyes

We shall see the next two sraces... tracks, like PI, Hayden likes and does well.

In any case dont see what is the problem - other than "my hero can't set up bike? oooh... dear, that is impossible" :rolleyes

Schwantz was notorios for not knowing jack shit how to set up a bike. Which is why he rode it so hard, like a nutcase and often crashed HARD.

Spence was not that good technically... as his father said about his son "he could change a tire, but better have someone else do it"

Puig's a fag and likes velcro shoes.
Nicky doesn't know how to set up a bike, yeah. I'm looking forward to the time when Hayden smokes that little turd on the red machine- shouldn't take long.

I am looking forward to it next month, and of course, winter testing and most important: The race season.

I don't think that Pedrosa is really an asshole personally, more like he's just kinda bland. His problem is that he's been in Puig's system and having that guy run his life since he was like 12 or 14 years old with the Academy, 125s, 250s, etc.

I'm thinking that's a pretty fucked up way to raise a kid if you want him to turn out normal.

There is some secret Bro-mance in the trailer. Puig is the only one who knows how to make dani smile.

Smile???? :wtf I'm pretty sure it's a grimace! :laughing

That's pretty harsh... but Dani is his boy...can't expect him not to stand up for the little guy even though he never really stepped up to expectations this season...stupid mistake last Sunday another example.

You rarely saw Nicky crash alone during a race...but Dani like the Aussie crashed on their own way too often...cost them both a shot at this year's championship.

2) Mr. Puig needs to stick to making overpriced windscreens and $150 fender eliminators.

FYI - Alberto Puig has nothing to do with those products.

.... Ok everyone please continue, this thread is entertaining. :Popcorn

I don't quite get how people are leaping from this article to hating (!) Pedrosa. I for one feel for him and wish he could rid himself of Puig. Look at what that idiot is saying:
For sure we didn't get the results we expected or that Honda expected this year. It happened to Hayden this year and they eventually got rid of him, and it could also happen to Dani Pedrosa at some point if he doesn't get the results
He's already distancing himself from his protege. Dani's clearly talented. Look at how he started this year. From where I sit, it looks like Puig's creating a pretty poisonous atmosphere around himself and it's starting to get to people in the paddock. This happens in corporate culture quite often, when someone's inability to shoulder responsibility and back up their own hype begins to quietly pervade the organization with unanimous dislike and lack of respect for said person. At some point, this individual catches on to it and starts to freak out, either taking the organization down with them or getting booted before it's too late. I think he's starting to feel the pressure on him and is trying to offset it on Dani. Kinda low.

What a POS. :thumbdown

He says Hayden is bothered because he can't access Dani's settings since the wall...How does that explain Hayden getting his best results after the wall came up?

Maybe that's (the wall) a good thing for Nicky, he seems to be doing better without the Diminuitive one's settings :dunno :laughing

No, no, no! Many of us already hated Pedrosa, and this is just fuel for the fire.

:laughing

Your analysis of the world closing in on Puig sounds about right though. :thumbup

bwahahahah :rofl

Man, I just read that whole article, Puig sounds like a twit IMHO, he was a GP race winnner, but did he ever win a GP championship?...no, I didn't think so.

He reminds me of my Italian friend's Spanish cousin, F00kin' A**hole to the umpteenth degree, always jabbering, thinking whatever he says IS the end all, be all to every discussion and then back peddling his statements when they are argued with pure facts, and then sometimes not, which makes him look like a bigger idiot. :thumbdown
I thought it was just him, but his mother is like that too, only she has a Nega-tor type attitude to add....
