I took this one during the last solar eclipse up at Lake Shasta Dam. It was what is known as an annular eclipse because the distance between the sun, moon and earth were such that the moon didn't completely cover the sun. I also didn't have a proper filter so I was forced to use the sun viewing glasses as a filter. I think it still turned out pretty good, all things considered.
