for $500 extra, you could order four wheel disc brakes on your 1969 Camaro. 200+ people did.Rear disc brakes ... on a 60's american car???
At some point, they cease to be 1960's cars when they're modified to the point of being recognizable only by name or general body shape.
Rear disc brakes and air suspension on a 60's american car???![]()
WTF happened to the dashboard, round plastic steering wheels, and stuff that made those cars great?
If you called them bad-ass modern cars with 1960's bodies, I might reluctantly agree.
There's nothing wrong with upgrading the suspension and brakes on an old car, but it kills me when I see Willwood dogshit on anything, especially high buck cars. Damn, get something decent, not that crap. I'd never buy anything from those douchebags.
Both of those shops butcher cars so badly it isn't even funny.
So what makes them crap?
Other than employing illegal aliens, they just copy designs from real brake manufacturers and generally are of shitty quality. I've witnessed a Wilwood caliper fail (shear in half); I've never seen any other caliper do so. Like I said, I'd never put that crap on anything.
Sheer in half?!?! That's....
Good to know. I'm in the process of building my v8 Monza. I have one of those silly rules... "If you can't make 'em woah. Don't make 'em go." I'm gonna put those crap calipers in the can't make them woah category.

I never heard of this Willwood place. If they are anything like SMC (Super Muscle Car... Barry White) or Boyd Coddington I would highly agree. Both of those shops butcher cars so badly it isn't even funny.
EDIT: aaaahhhh apparently they are brakes. Must be fairly new "crap" since I haven't heard of themSo what makes them crap?
I must be a novice cuz Willwood or Stainless Steel Brakes were the only
two I was looking at to upgrade my stang. I want to upgrade the drums in the rear and figured I would do the whole system.
How about a $1.3 Mustang "The Obsidian"
