BARF amatuer musician "jam" meet - Fri, Feb 13, 09

Loading the gear now. I'm hoping traffic isn't as bad going up 680 as it is going east on 580 right now. Took me an hour to get home from San Leandro. :thumbdown

Just got home, thanks to some overtime and a multiple car crash on 101 north. Combine that with airport traffic and rain coming down so hard over here it's setting off car alarms, and I'm sitting this one out. IMHO, actually, I think a weekend would have worked better for most people, but then that's just me. :dunno

Need to have another planned for a spring weekend when the weather is better. :x

just a couple teasers...

ArtStar??
Rockstar, actually. I got it for pretty cheap, though. I think I paid $400 for the drums when I bought them in 2003. I had a blast tonight, guys. Hope we can do it again soon!

All: What a great time. Lots of interaction, variety, people being funny, getting brave and making music. It was a nice blend of playing songs and making stuff up on the fly.

I hope everyone got to play as much as they wanted to.

Mike: Thanks so much for letting us play in your shop!
