But aren't they still legally able to sell up to June 1st?

No.

From what they said they have enough time to finish what has been DROS'ed. They are not supposed to DROS any more firearms.

.........and their .223 upper is still overpriced.......

Zefflyn..... I may go out to try my mosin this weekend.

Yeah, well, you don't fuck up a bunch of paperwork and expect to get away with it.

:laughing

Read the Frontline story. They had straw purchases as well.

According to the people there, they did nothing wrong and their papers were in order. They are blaming the liberals. :laughing

I mean, really, if the ATF pulls a license; wouldn't you think there was some evidence or truth to it? I guess it's easier to demonize someone else than to accept personal responsibilities. :rolleyes

URGENT HELP NEEDED!!!!

How does one go about opening a WWII "sardine can"?

This thing is being a bit of a bitch.

You should see this after a few beers and a pair of vice grips!

:laughing

Ahhh..... I should just walk to the garage.

I had the same problem with a can of 7.62x54r that I bought but forgot to ask for the opener. Bit of time with a hammer and flat head screwdriver did it though. :toothless

DAMN RUSSIAN AMMO!!!!

Uh!!!!!!

I could slice it open, in like 45 seconds. But my lazy ass would have to walk up to the garage, turn on the air compressor, I've got a body saw to boot!

Eh.

I was going to ask - don't you have some kind of machine shop?

Just take it out back and shoot it open!

Eh... Can't have beer and drive to the shop. That and I was too lazy to walk up the hill to my garage. So I peeled a hole open with vice grips. :laughing

:| I'll open the other one in an easier fashion.

So.. my parents house was broken into last night. My AR was in a case, in the back of my closet. I had it unlocked so my dad could get into it when he wanted.

He came home today, it seemed like they were in and out very fast, kinda ransacked my parents room and grabbed my rifle. They didn't find my parent's expensive jewlry or even their cash stash. Just my rifle and some odds and ends.

I'm not too upset though- I'll get all my money back from insurance, and since lowers are cheaper now I'll have a bit left over. I also did a pretty crappy job with the lower parts kit install that I get a second chance at now.

So the real question is, do I take the extra hundred and buy a quad rail like I wish I'd done, or do I put it into an AK? I'm thinking an AK.

Oh yeah- so my dad calls when the police are over to give them the serial number. The cop actually wanted to talk to me, because he had no idea about the cali legal lower thing. And his words? "I'm a gun enthusiast- I have an AR too." Heh.

I now need to report it stolen to the DOJ, right? How do I do that?
