I've actually been to Harmony Church, and the known-distance range that they show on the slides. Loved that Leupold with the EOTech mounted on top.

Good stuff man. Congrats. You should check out the defensive shooting class at MetCalf. It's the first and 3rd Sunday of every month (at $20 a pop). Good times and it's taught by local PD who have extensive experience with tactical shooting.

I second that. Mark Thomen is the man. He's the pistol/rifle instructor for SJPD SWAT and also a Gunsite instructor. It's like getting Gunsite classes on the cheap.

I've been to one or two (it's a been a while) sessions at Metcalfe. Definitely a lot of fun and was introduced to it by one of their regular shooters.

I'm not sure how John Q. Public goes about it.
