BARF's Biggest Loser, Gainer Maintainers 2016 Edition

Phase two has been initiated. I signed myself and the fiance and the boy up at the gym. No excuses now.

It just sucks having to explain to people that you weigh food. :|

Or why you have a drawer full of measuring cups, with several full sets in there :laughing

That's awesome that you've made it that much of a habit. I've found that the eating out guesstimates are much easier when I've been measuring the rest of the time - and far more accurate.:thumbup

I actually have a tiny scale that a friend gave me. I love it.

I missed the check in last week.
Last week I was up 1 lbs due to eating at my daughters baptism.
This week I'm down 5 lbs.

Weighed in at my old 174.4 this morning. I guess that the baja weight might have been related to the 6pack of tecate I was drinking each night. :laughing Now that I'm back to my regular routine the weight came right off again. Used the elliptical regularly all week and was back to my usual three cups of coffee. I've got the Sheetiron on the calendar now so riding that will be my motivation to continue getting fit.

1/2 175.4
1/6 175.2
1/13 174.4
1/20 174.4
2/3 178.6
2/10 174.4

I joined a gym this week. Also signed up the fiance and the kid. It sucks that there aren't any near work since I basically split my time between home and work 100 miles away every other week.

Anyway, I signed up for a year of weekly personal trainer sessions to keep me motivated and to show me how to do shit since I've never had a gym membership.

Today's assessment:
176 lbs
21.3% body fat (proving that I'm a classic (not so) skinny-fat)

I got a workout in with the trainer. I asked him not to kill me. I've taken care of cross fitters suffering from rhabdomyolysis, so I'll definitely pay attention to my limits while starting off. But it's nice having someone show me what to do rather than wandering around wondering how much to do and in what order.

Tomorrow I'll swim laps, then I start my work week. I'll come back Monday and probably swim some more before I go to sleep for the day.

Broke 200!! :party

197.8 this morning!

Thanks, everyone!

I've never said my goal out loud. Today, I will. 175-180, by the end of the year. 160 by end of 2017. Before, I was able to lose like 15lbs in 3 weeks, but put it back on and more in almost just a little time. I'm taking it nice and slow, making small adjustments to my eating habits and walking more. I've been able to maintain a slow but continuous weight loss momentum which is motivating me even more. :)

Congrats on breaking through the 200 mark!! Keep up the good work Hoho! :applause

That is awesome and I'm sure a fantastic feeling!!!!! Well done

Welcome to the Onesies HoHo!!! :banana

Racquet ball with the family tonight. The boy needs to develop some coping skills. The protective eyewear didn't fit perfectly so he kept fiddling with them, and eventually just stopped playing and hung out in a corner.

Otherwise it was fun. We hella suck, but worked up a sweat together. Better than our usual couch potato routine.

I wonder if I'll ever see sub-200. I would be pretty ripped at that point. Lowest I've ever been as an adult was 192 when I graduated boot camp. My wife literally walked past me at the airport when I got home.

I didn't check in last week. I was done 5lbs last week. Down 1 lbs this week. Going out to eat with the wife on V day I think had something to do with the lower weight loss. Happy wife happy life.

You guys are ROFCKING this!

I'm getting leaner, still avoiding the scale. The waistband in my "skinny" jeans has loosened up and my "fat" pants are in the single digits size.

From 14 to 12 to 10 to 8 to 6 to 4.

Got my eye on some 2s :banana
