BARF's Biggest Loser, Gainer Maintainers 2016 Edition

Week 1: 220.8 lbs
Week 2: 213.8 lbs but dehydrated (probably closer to 216)
Week 3: 214.2 lbs
Week 4: 211.2 lbs
Week 5: 210.4 lbs
Week 6: 209.6 lbs
Week 7: 209.2 lbs
Week 8: 208.6 lbs

The next two weeks will be tough because I'll be away in training, staying in a hotel, and eating out. Hoping to stay under 210 for the next 2 weeks.

Not gonna jinx myself this time with number goals, but I'm down 9 lbs so far since January. :banana

Not much to report this week except that I seem to be maintaining this weight still. I was 174.4 again today. I'm only using the elliptical every other day and still have the spare tire thing going although its much better than before according to mrs1962. I may have to kick it in again and make another fat burning push. This maintaining isn't as exciting as the losing was. :x

1/2 175.4
1/6 175.2
1/13 174.4
1/20 174.4-pre baja
2/3 178.6-post baja
2/10 174.4
2/17 174.2
2/24 174.4

Okay, not sure that I've actually recorded my weights here...so here's a list, I have been tracking it. The weight loss is slow-ish, partially because I've been working out relatively consistantly since moving in early December, which means I've been working hard to put muscle back on.

Finding the right balance with food has been tough - eating enough to support the muscle gains and workouts I want, but still trimming fat. At least the tape measure has been steadily shrinking!

I'll try to remember to back fill this when I get home (don't have all the info here at work with me...)

Great to see so many losing weight. Wife's Dr said her A1C was not good and she needed to change the diet. So my diet has changed. Late to this thread, started at just over 200 down to 187. Goal is to get down to 175 or close to it. Left knee has been giving me problems so Dr said best thing is to get some weight off of it. Goal to make weight is Apr 27th when I head for Switzerland for 6 weeks.

Four hours at the climbing gym this afternoon, hopefully tomorrow breaks me into another 10# zone. :fingers crossed

Definitely stronger though. Need to hit up yoga more often for flexibility and core strength.

Trying to be sure I'm squeezing in all my workouts - working 3 jobs makes it a little tough, but it's a pretty big priority, so making it happen.

I've been craving burgers lately. Any burger is great, but I want McDonalds - even though I know I'd feel like shit afterwards, I still am craving it! I've tried homemade burger - didn't cut it :laughing I think my body doesn't want to use up it's spare tire so is trying to talk me into replenishing it! I shall remain strong!! right up until I'm not

:laughing

I know what you mean... I went on a 15-day no added sugar (no ice cream :wow, no soda, no chocolate) challenge... after the 15 days, I haven't NOT had sugar... :facepalm I'm surprised I still lost some weight after...

I'm back to clean eating. Sugar is the toughest for me but when I consiously choose not to consume it the cravings go away.
Scary ewhen I read the lables it's in everything.

I don't eat much processed food - even the cafe at work is pretty healthy, they have an effort to make things without a bunch of junk added in, and you can taste the difference!

In fact, there's not much added sugar in my world - I even decided to give up coffee as of this week...not because coffee is that bad, but I mostly like creamer with a coffee chaser. I can't stand it without a ton of cream and sugar, and prefer the "fake" creamers - which have nothing good in them LOL! So green tea with one Splenda it is - still not perfect, but it's a big enough change for now. I was really enjoying my morning coffees!!!

I try to fit junk food into my diet. I'd eat the burger anyways, but make sure I'm still hitting my macros and staying within my calorie limit.

Of course, that kind of depends on your calorie limits as well... Doesn't make much sense to eat a 700-800 calorie burger if you're on a 1400 calorie diet.

I used to need sugar and creamer in my coffee as well, but I forced myself off of it when I was trying to lose weight and now prefer it black. It's a great appetite suppressant without adding any calories.
