For you MW3 boys...

Try turning off the theater mode recording. I've been hearing that it reduces some lag and some hit detection bullshitery.

Would totally explain why Black Ops sucked at hit detection compared to MW3.

If it works, don't tell Angryman though. Let him keep getting "bullshited" by lag switchers and hackers.

Yeah, we all play without it on. Been spreading the word through the game lobbies. Fuck that BS.
 
ok guys school me on the basics of MW3 pleaseeee:laughing

i have been playing off and on for a couple days and i am taking for ever to level up. i cant seem to get the whole aiming system down and seem to suck at this game:(

any tips you can give me?

How do I turn it off. And change my nat. And make my lobby not private so friends can just join me without an invite

Is this your first time playing a COD game? The basics for COD has pretty much been the same throughout each new COD game. Point your gun, and shoot the enemy. Play a few games of Domination, it helps you with getting more familiar with the maps. You tend to score more XP on objective games like Domination or HQ (assuming you're playing for the objective and have a solid team behind you), so you'll level up a bit faster playing those game modes.
 
I'm enjoying the Special Ops, anyone down to work on the 2 player Spec Ops? I'm trying to get 3 stars for each operation.
 
Twice disconnected from EA servers within a span of 2 hrs...yea I'm fuckin irritated.

I have played most if not all of them, just was never into the multiplayer. I decided to really give it a try this time but for whatever reason I just cant get the whole aiming thing down:laughing

I think my problem though is when im running around instead of leading with the regular onscreen reticule i am leading with whatever sight is on the gun, which causes me to shoot to the side of people when i have to quickly use the gun. if that makes sense:rofl

oh well maybe ill just go back into my office and stare at my street fighter 2 trophy from the early 90's for awhile:rofl

Try using electrical tape and creating your own mid screen reticle "ala Shades". :laughing Also try turning your sensitivity up, it will help you aim MUCH quicker, I usually have mine set around 7 or 8 depending on the map.

Turn your sensitivity down if you are having aiming trouble.

Don't bother aiming at close enemies, just pull the trigger to hip fire.

If you miss your first burst, you are probably going to die unless you are moving to cover. Reload behind cover and flank.

Don't take a shot with little chance of success. It will only alert others to your position.

Shoot and scoot. Never stick around the position where you just fired or killed somebody. My best games are ones in which I get a kill, then take a position where I can see the former position or its approach. Dumbshits come looking for revenge, BAM! Scoot and repeat.

Oh I see you've met Angryman.

BTW I joined him and others (norkali?) on the opposing team, playing that Paris map with the cafe. Teammate dropped a smoke for an Osprey airdrop at the top of the street. You know everybody and his mother is coming to that magnet. I timed it perfectly, tossed a nade down the stairs, got a triple, including Angyman.
