BARFTRON HOMEBASE

Like I said, he's been on my list for years. He's a pal of Cryton who has also been a long-time friend from my Ghost Recon days. Ditto Oakie, who, though grating at times, can be hilarious. Ever been in a room with Oakie and Mandac? It's like matter and anti-matter colliding.

The same reason you unmute some random ass 12 year old in the lobby after you just raped him and his whole team. The faint hope that they changed their tune...which of course they didn't and go right back on mute.

Instructions for getting the Elite 2 Hr. Double XP, Title, and Emblem if you're having trouble. (Works for the free service as well, not just 'Premium')

So I know lots of people haven't received their double XP like myself until about 10 mins ago. My friend was in the same situation as me until I told him what I did then he got his so this is how it worked for me.

1. Log into Callofduty.com and look at your profile
2. Click the Enter call of duty Elite button.
3. Whilst on the Elite section of Callofduty.com look at you MW3 Playercard
4. On the Xbox Dashboard go to the Elite Application from your Games Library
5. Mine didn't let me log in so I clicked my guide button and went "Play Modern Warfare 3"
6. From there go to Multiplayer, Xbox Live
7. I then noticed that I had new Callsigns and went to Emblems and noticed I had an emblem from CoD Elite.
8. I went to titles and there was a Title too, in excitement I went to the Barracks to see if I had Double XP and I did.

Hope this helps you!

Now why the hell can't I find and/or form the BARF clan on elite?

fuck cod elite always peak traffic i tried like 100 times never make it anywhere...

oakie is bearable, but angry and mandac. they gets muted most of the time. i dunno why i even bother unmuting.

We actually met Mandac in person when some of Barftron met in meatspace and he is more annoying if that's even possible.

I have played most if not all of them, just was never into the multiplayer. I decided to really give it a try this time but for whatever reason I just cant get the whole aiming thing down:laughing

What everyone said but most importantly, like anything else, there is a learning curve and you just got to put in the time. MW2 was my first jump into the multiplayer world and I got raped for a good month before I started to get the hang of it. I'm still not super good but I can hold my own and have my moments here and there. Start with the sensitivity setting on MEDIUM.

Don't worry about your KDR. I don't. I just go out and do what I can to help a team out. It's much more rewarding to win.

Try to play some free for all to get used to running and gunning. Oh and don't forget to mute everyone that you don't know :laughing

i generally wait until they annoy me before i mute them.

i played with a random guy in BF3 the other day that turned out to be as crazy about helicopters as i am. we made a damn good gunner/pilot combo. so much that when one of us did get in a ship, we would do a hover pick up of the other one. got into a routine that worked well. we gunned down 4 planes, 2 enemy helicopters and 4 tanks in one flight. :twofinger

I actually like the helicopter controls. First time I flew a chopper in bad company 2, I was like wtf why did they not just leave all the cyclic on one stick like it is in a real chopper. I'm actually pretty good at orbiting an objective while some gunners just go nuts out the side I have facing the ground.

Planes on the other hand....ugh. Haven't been able to get anything going with those. If I don't get lit up even getting off the runway, I can barely stay in the air long enough to line up a strafe run before I'm locked up and shot down by some asshole with a Stinger.

Altitude - get above the Stingers's range! Then fly low on the outskirts of the map.

is there an cod elite group barf style?

I've been working on planes for quite a while, but I'm getting a lot better. Without any upgrades, it's going to be pretty hard for you to get points. Without IR flares, you better have some damn good flying to avoid the stingers and heat seeking missiles.

As said above, you can fly out of a stinger's range. If you fly high enough or far enough, the stinger won't hit you; even if it's already been shot.

When using your machine gun, don't forget to aim ahead AND above your target. Bullet drop still applies.

Easiest way to score quick points? Join a squad and have your squad leader set squad objectives to attack or defend an objective. Have the rest of your squad accomplish these objectives and you'll score a quick 20 points here and there.

Once you unlock IR flares and heat seeking missiles, you'll be on much more equal footing.

in jet, fly a bit off map, then get up high, do a backflip then hope your team has been targeting tanks. fly straight at it and light it up (main guns have a somewhat limited range you'll find). IR flares are quick to unlock, heat missiles are ok

im halfway through the heli unlocks and still trying to unlock the fire extinguisher on the jets. biggest key with the jets is to fly together. if you can get a good wingman to do the initial missle, you can lauch the fatal one after the target throws his flares. other than that, the easiest way to get points is to nail people as they take off. you feel guilty about it but such is life.

i landed a plane and repaired it in the last match i played on Operation Firestorm. i was stoked! then the enemy jet kamakazied into me a few minutes later. dick.

I was suprised that I was able to enjoy Hardcore mode in MW3 last night. usually I really hate it and bial right away. but last night it didn't seem nearly as campy as it usually is. I hope that isn't just because of how new the game is. It was nice not having the enemy with a constant stream of UAV's up.

hardcore is fun with that shotgun 1887 !
