Can you guys give me some reviews on the Turtle Beach headsets? I was about to splurge and go for the $250 model, but I was reading that the "surround sound" isn't really surround sound and that the additional speakers in the high end models for the surround sound in the head set make it more prone to breaking down.

I wound up getting their entry level P11 model because it supposedly has bigger speakers.

So far they are working just fine, but it does feel a little cheap, especially the mic part. It's pretty loose. I'm still within the grace period to return and upgrade if you guys tell me other wise.

I have the PX21s. I got those particular ones because the mic looked more robust than the other Turtle Beach models. Sound plenty fine. I like that chat volume and game volume have seperate volume controls.

Probably going to get the XP500 or maybe even the MW3 "Earforce Delta" version because I am soooooo sick of the wires. My buddy just got X41s and says the surround sound effect is awesome.
 
Holy shit you guys are fast in that Viper Indy challenge. Just tried it for the first time today and it's embarrassing how fast I get left behind by the ghost.
 
Hmmmmmm. Deciding if I want to invest the time to put in a good lap or just let it stand that I'm dead last in the Viper challenge.

I'll wait and see what the new monthly challenges are. Could be some interesting ones thatid rather spend time trying to get on the boards for.
 
I would think by the end of the week. Along with a new batch of downloadable cars. Still stoked at the out of the blue Fiero last month. And the Alfa Romeo is great for drifting.

I'd love to try it but I know they take a while to get use to. I tried one in gran turismo, a decade ago. I can see how it would be faster cause your steering would be gradual. I enjoy playing with the kinect to steer, usually against my wife.

I want to try the little u shaped controller. Anyone have it? Or looking to sell their wheel cheap?
