BARFTRON HOMEBASE

Don't use a prestige token with assassin. You earn it normally pretty quickly.

I used a token to unlock dead silence, since it's pretty essential in hardcore modes due to a lot more people sound whore and camp in hardcore. But even that, most perks are unlocked pretty fast.

If you're starting at rank 1, it's a good idea to unlock the Stinger. Otherwise, that's an awful lot of matches of getting beat by air support until you earn it normally.

And just like with the Type 95, the MP7 (as with the other SMGs) doesn't get good till you unlock rapid fire for it. On my golden MP7, I run rapid fire and extended mags. No need for kick since it doesn't recoil much. Otherwise, Focus is the best proficiency to run with that gun.
 
And I just leveled up the recently patched (it got beefed up) USAS-12.

Damn.

Fuck the Striker. With the Range proficiency, the USAS-12 can one shot kill pretty easily. On a map like Dome or Hardhat, it's just total EZ mode.

BARFtron crew is still going on Elite. Only Norkali, Bap, and I are in it...but it's still up.

at close range, it's one shot. longer range, two shots. small map destroyer. :laughing

I tried it with Damage. Meh. Not as effective. The gun pretty much one shots kills anyways. Best running with Range and extended mags.

yeah, working to get it ranked up. :laughing had a dude walk around the corner and the shotgun was aimed square on his stomach. launched him back in mid air. :laughing hilarious. could hear the dude yell cause he got surprised.

As long as the MK14 is as powerful as it is, I don't think there will ever be a reason for me to use an actual sniper rifle in hardcore modes. Throw the ACOG or thermal scope on it and voila instant sniper rifle. And it pretty much is...I imagine this is the same gun as the M21 EBR was in MW2. Hell, it even sounds the same.

With fmg9s akimbo, there is almost no range that you dont have a completely dominant weapon. Maybe a shot gun is preferable in extremely cqc, there's a small gap at the end of the auto pistol's range where a fully automatic AR might be better than the semiauto mk. But if you just manage rhe distance at which you engage, they rule all other ranges. :teeth

I missed with my last missle and the guy ran right past me as I was closing the laptop so I finished him off with fmg9s. Highlight of my crappy match. :teeth

FMG9s are still pretty obnoxious. Whatever nerf they did wasn't enough. There's just no way you should be able to spray down a juggernaut and kill him before the mags are even empty. Those things are supposedly are just Glock 18s in a suitcase. But if you try to spray down a jug with the G18s, he just turns on you and kills you. I've laid a full extended mag from my USAS12 into the back of a jug up close and he just turned and killed me.

But shotguns are still the king for close encounters. I almost have my USAS12 gold, and the majority of my up close gunfights that I've lost with it are from instadeaths from some asshole with a KSG-12. They really beefed up that gun a lot. I would like to try it, but I suck with pump shotties.
