I can pilot the shit out of a chopper but a good gunner is the difference.

Rent a server so you can set all the individual options? Yeah, that's genius. We were micro-managing game options in 2005/6 in Ghost Recon and it was included in the $59.95 price of the game. Now EA has figured out a way to make people pay for it.

You think EA and Activision have all these schemes (like the multiplayer code) because they are losing $$ to piracy on the PC platform?

I don't think it is solely with the PC's. There is word that both Microsoft and Sony are going to the multiplayer code thing with the new consoles. Sound like they are trying to stop the used game market.:thumbdown
 
No, I think the code is because game companies have been fighting to get royalties from game retailers like GameStop. Just my hunch.
 
I might be down to do the server rental thing. Do you have to be on that Battlelog shit to do it...cuz that ain't happening.

I'm down to rent a server for a BARFtron day...but we just need to set a date.
 
Fuck that. I was thinking about flipping the switch on for a month.

I'd love to just go in a server and practice flying the jets and choppers. But you can't just go join an empty pub server and go nuts. Game won't start until there's at least 8 people in the server I think.

With a rent a server deal I could set it to no minimum player amount and just go in and constantly fool with the vehicles. Or see how high I can launch a tank in the air with a shitload of explosives.

I find the kits you can buy so you don't have to earn everything as a cheap move. Digests the purpose of playing.
