I like that the MAV elevator doesn't work anymore and you don't automatically go into controlling the MAV or SOFLAM when you set one down. Also, they added anti aircraft turrets next to the planes on kharg island, no more jet camping by the other team.

Lot of gun changes...pretty much everything got touched with the exception of PDW, a few ARs, and sniper rifles.
 
What the bloody hell? I tried to rent a server, but when you get to the select location part, all the choices are greeted out. Even Austrailia. South US was available for a second and then I didn't see it for the rest of the day.
 
Accepted Griz's invite to play BF3, had to get a big-ass update. Then it wouldn't join him and he couldn't join me. Piece of shit game.
 
Yeah. I don't know wtf that was about.

They fixed a few other things. You don't have to wait for a new match to start before you can quit.

Yeah this a very welcome change.

I also like that stuff like the Stingers and SOFLAM get a lock faster. Makes them a bit more useful.

A lot of the servers specifically ban the USAS with frag rounds. Is it still pretty cheap even after the patch? I wouldn't know. I just finally unlocked slugs for the 870MCS yesterday.
 
I like that IR Flares no longer distract a radar lock (this is a lots te realistic) and the ECM does not distract a laser target. They added AA guns to a few places that needed them.
 
Lot of people had the same idea as me. Found a few empty rental servers where I could practice flying.

Still want a BARFtron server though.
 
That's what I was doing. Helps if you find one that only needs 2 players to get points too. It sucks being so far behind on unlocks for everything. I taxied a jet to an objective last night.
 
Watch out while driving vehicles btw, AT mines won't show unless you (or teammate) spots them.
 
I need to start playing BF3. Having it on PC isn't the same as being able to play with the Xbox barfers.

Did some work on that myself today. A full volley of rockets seems to bust open a main battle tank pretty well. I think I like the autoloader a lot more than stealth.

+1 total bullshit. I was pissed when I bought BF3 and saw that the game has all these individual options which were all the same setting and you couldn't change shit or have private clan matches.


BTW Ghost Recon beta for 360 is out ~20th this month I think. Code with a $5 preorder or purchase of SplinterCell. This guys videos are of the 360 version, the older videos out there are from PC

I'm liking the looks of it, but I'm not pumped about the cover system. Reminds me of the crappy Rainbow6 version but maybe they've improved the mechanics of it. Redstorm made the multiplayer so there is still hope.
 
its like we play private mathes often , and theres probably enough to make 1 squad. yall just eat up map packs from cod, we did get a handfull of maps n weapons for free. :rolleyes. . find a bff and mooch a server off em

Hmm, don't like the whole future solider thing. Seeing enemies and friendlies (and distinguishing them) through walls? Gimme a break. Hell I don't like radar-type maps. Whatever, as long as I can play Blind Siege. Occupy the unknown objective from your unknown spawn, no respawns when you die. Or set up a hasty defense of your unknown spawn with attackers coming from an unknown spawn. Tactics, tactics, tactics.
